Ken Byers was called to the Bar in April of 1981.  He obtained is Bachelor of Laws degree from OSGOODE LAW SCHOOL  in 1979.  Prior to Law School Mr. Byers received a Bachelor of Science degree in PHYSICS from Trent University where he was awarded the prestigious Engineers Award for the top physics student.

Ken devotes a significant amount of his time to charitable work.  He sits on the Board for the Foundation in Support of Erinoakkids, . He was a founding member and President of the Mississauga Trilliums.  With respect to minor sports his has volunteered as an executive member and/or  coach for the past 45 years in hockey, men and women’s lacrosse, baseball and basketball.

In his younger years Ken was an accomplished lacrosse player who played on five Canadian Championship teams.  In 2010 he was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame.  He has successfully transferred his competitive instincts and winning attitude to the practice of law.
